·1. After applying eyeliner pencil, dip a clean eyeliner brush or sponge tip applicator into a coordinating powder shadow. Lightly drag the powder over the pencil, which will cling to the wax and keep your liner on longer. Plus it can also give you a smoky soft look that is less harsh on aging eyes.
2. When your skin looks or feels extra dry is to take a bit of moisturizer - a dense cream type works best - and rub it between the palms of your hands. Then, gently touch your face - after our make-up is completed. The result is a dewy, youthful complexion and a line-minimizing glow.
3. How do you know when it's time for a make-up makeover? Check your cosmetic bag: If you're still using oil-free foundation, stick concealer, makeup with glitter, black eyeliner, dark and/or matte lipstick, or a dark pencil to line your lips - go make-up shopping . Buy: Tinted moisturizer and not foundation, a cream blush in a peach or coral shade; a lip gloss or a glossy lipstick in a rose or coral shade; a soft brown or grey eye pencil; a lipliner in "natural".
4. When choosing eye colors remember opposites attract: If your eyes are warm brown choose a cool grey color shadow; if eyes are a cool green or blue, look for a warm, coppery brown.
5. To keep lip-gloss from smearing into tiny lines around the mouth, put it only in the center of your lip. This gives you the glow without the mess.
